Billionaire financier / registered sex offender Jeffrey Epstein is now out of prison — six months early apparently, because he’s cooperating with feds in prosecuting former Bear Stearns hedge fund managers Ralph Cioffi and Matthew Tannin. Read the rest of this entry »

MaximiliaCordero-004After all of the embarrassing publicity engendered by transgendered
"model" Maximilia Ava Cordero's lawsuit against now imprisoned billionaire perv Jeffrey
Epstein, it's been tossed according to the NY Post.

Although the charges were embarrassing, it was important to Epstein to fight the "phony allegations" rather than settling, said his lawyer, Gerald Lefcourt.

"If you don't fight it, they linger and people think they are possibly true," he said.

Jeffrey Epstein no longer gets to dine on the finest and has to do his own shopping now that he’s tucked away in a Palm Beach prison, serving an 18 month sentence for perving underage babes.  What does he eat and what else does he buy at the prison commissary?  The Smoking Gun got hold of his receipts via the Freedom of Information act and shares their findings. Since he seems to buy a lot, they also speculate that he may be sharing the wealth with his fellow inmates (we’ll guess that several very, very large sweatshirts he bought weren’t for him)…

Page Six: Jeffrey Epstein’s doing fine in prison

Posted by WSF On July - 30 - 2008

Maybe we’re just way behind the times, but we didn’t think that prison inmates got email access.  Guess they do, at least at some of the cushier barred digs.  Page Six tells us that jailed financier / sex offenderJeffrey Epstein seems to be doing just fine in prison.  He has his own cell and is said to spend a lot of time in the library "e-mailing various models he befriended in New York, sending them boxes of chocolates and promising them career help".

Some apparently aren’t so happy with Jeffrey Epstein’s plea deal.  Page Six notes that three women who have sued him want a federal judge to kill the deal where Epstein serves 18 months in prison in exchange for admitting that he admit to soliciting a 14 year old hooker.

Their lawyer, Brad Edwards, has asked US
District Judge Kenneth Marra to toss the deal – which included an agreement that
Epstein’s wouldn’t face federal prosecution, which could have led to a longer
jail term – because they weren’t consulted on it. Marra has asked for more
information before he rules. Epstein’s rep, Howard Ruben stein, said, "The
lawsuit has absolutely no merit. They’re just looking for money. These women
have lied repeatedly, and in no way shape or form were they victims. They were
at his place freely and voluntarily. And one of them showed Epstein a fake
ID."

What a shocker: Sounds like Jeffrey Epstein got some preferential treatment in his prostitution charge plea deal.  Circuit judge Deborah Dale Pucillo was critical of two of the conditions — that he get to have "his fancy-pantsy private psychiatrist"  for his sex-offender treatment, and that he gets to serve his time in county jail rather than in state prison where as a sex offender he might have gotten some pretty rough treatment…

The Palm Beach Post confirmed the NY Post’s earlier story that billionaire underage prostitute solicitor Jeffrey Epstein would plead guilty.  And it’s a done deal.  He surrendered this morning, accompanied to court by at least 3 lawyers.  After making his guilty plea he was fingerprinted and then handcuffed for his trip off to jail.  He’ll be living at the Palm Beach County Jail for up to the next 18 months. He’ll be a registered sex offender for life, and when he gets out, he’ll be under house arrest for a year, and will have to clean up his act considerably —

When he eventually is released from jail,
Epstein will have to comply with numerous conditions of his house arrest. They
include observing a 10 p.m.to 6 a.m. curfew, having no unsupervised contact with
anybody under the age of 18 and not owning or possession pornographic or sexual
materials "that are relevant to your deviant behavior," the judge
said.

So porn NOT relevant to his "deviant behavior" is allowed.  We could, but we won’t go there.  LOL

Investment banker Jeffrey Epstein pleads guilty to solicitation of prostitution – Palm Beach Post

Today’s NY Post Page Six discloses that one of the biggest losers in the Bear Stearns hedge fund implosion mess is none other than billionaire / underage sex solicitor Jeffrey Epstein.  He lost around $57 million, and the feds identify him as "Major Investor No.1" in their case against former hedge fund managers Ralph Cioffi and Matthew Tannin.  Epstein’s identity as MI#1 was confirmed by his rep, Howard Rubenstein.

Separately, The Post also is reporting that Epstein is finally set to plead guilty in West Palm Beach to charges that he solicited under age hookers at his Florida lair, and immediately surrender himself up so that he can start serving that up to 18 month prison stay.

But the smarmy billionaire financier, awaiting trial, is back in the U.S. Per Page SIx:

JEFFREY Epstein, who made a trip to Israel
last month, thought about staying there, as Roman Polanski did in France, rather
than face trial and possibly jail on charges of soliciting sex from prostitutes.
But the money manager came home. "Would you want to live in Israel?"
he asked Vanity Fair’s Vicky Ward yesterday. At the screening the night before
of HBO’s documentary about Polanski, the crowd – including Harvey Weinstein,
Jeff Bewkes, Dustin Hoffman, Emmy Rossum , Alec Baldwin and filmmaker Michael
Mailer – was buzzing that Epstein had absconded. In fact, he was in his Upper
East Side mansion. Ward wrote yesterday on the VF Web site, "He’d even
thought about going to the Polanski screening until various friends e-mailed him
to say, in so many words, ‘Are you in- sane?’ "

However, this one tame in comparison to the she-male lawsuit headlines that we’ve seen over the past days….

Sources say the former math teacher, who
owns the lush, tropical island of Little St. James, off the coast of St. Thomas,
regularly ferried boatloads of young women there.

Sources also say Epstein enjoys a warm
relationship with USVI Gov. John P. deJongh Jr. "Epstein has donated as
much as $1 million to the governor’s election campaign," said our source.
In addition, Epstein, who runs the charitable J. Epstein Virgin Islands
Foundation, employs deJongh’s wife, Cecile, as its director. He also pays for
the education of the governor’s children at the exclusive Antilles School on St.
Thomas.

"There is concern that the deJonghs will now be associated with a sexual
predator," our insider said.

It’s getting more and more bizarre:  The New York Post highlights new revelations coming from nutty she-male Maximilia Cordero’s amended lawsuit against billionaire Jeffrey Epstein. His spokesman, Howard Rubenstein says "It’s all baloney.".  While that’s what it sounds like to us, that didn’t stop us from having a little bit of fun with Photoshop (at the left).  From the Post:

In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court,
Avarelle Maximillia – formerly Maximillian – Cordero claims she once told
Jeffrey Epstein that she hears "demonic voices" and that he once put
on lipstick and a red wig and told her to "call me Janice."

He then fondled and licked the still
biologically male Cordero, the suit charges.

On one occasion in 2000, the vulgarly
written suit says, the teenaged Cordero told Epstein "I’m Old Yella"
and "began barking like a dog. She got on all fours in her lingerie and
continued barking. She told defendant Epstein to be careful or she would ‘bite
him.’ "

Oy.

Jeffrey Epstein Accused of Licking Trans-Gender Model – New York Post

Tags: ,

She-esh!  We’ve grown pretty tired of all of the Jeffrey Epstein headlines at this point. But sometimes you see something so wild that you just can’t look away.  Today’s NY Post had us hysterically laughing, almost spitting our coffee all over our computer screen.  It seems that there’s a question over whether the Maximilia Cordero, a model wannabe that filed a recent lawsuit against soon-to-be-incarcerated billionaire Jeffrey Epstein may be a he and not a she. Epstein’s spokesman Howard Rubenstein calls it a "shocker".  Of course her skeevy 57 year old Lawyer / roommate / ex-boyfriend William Unroch denies it.

Maximilia Cordero, who stepped forward last week with a lawsuit claiming she’d engaged in "bizarre and unnatural sex acts" with Epstein while in her teens, was born Maximillian Cordero in 1983, records show.

He was dressing up as a girl by age 12, and has been living as a female since his early teens, sources close to Cor dero told The Post. Cordero has had cosmetic work done and has taken hormone treat ments for almost a decade to look more like a woman, one source said.

On one of at least three MySpace pages featuring her pictures, she lists her gender as "male."

Jeffrey Epstein, the billionaire money manager who’s agreed to plead guilty to soliciting underaged hookers and go away for 18 months, doesn’t want to be branded a "sex offender" for life.  Page Six says his lawyers are thinking about asking prosecutors to drop that requirement from his plea agreement:

In a letter drafted, but not sent, to U.S.
Attorney Alexander Costa and obtained by Page Six, Epstein’s lawyer, Gerald
Lefcourt, writes, "Doing so will have a profound impact [on Epstein] both
immediately and forever after. Not only will he be restricted to a wholly
inappropriate penal facility, but he will be required for the rest of his life
to account for his whereabouts."

Meanwhile, over the weekend Page Six said that owners of MC2 modeling, run by Jean-Luc Brunel — who’s also been accused of favoring underaged models in the past –  claim that Epstein is not the secret deep pockets behind the firm, no matter what others say or speculate.

Billionaire baller money manager and alleged perv Jeffrey Epstein could go to jail for 1 1/2 – 2 years if the Palm Beach Post is right about a possible plea deal in his sexcapades case:

That’s apparently the best his lawyering
all-stars — including former Monica Lewinsky prosecutor Ken Starr, Harvard
prof Alan Dershowitz, New York legal eagle Gerald Lefcourt and Miami’s Roy Black
— have been able to work out for the teen girl-loving Epstein.

He faces charges that he paid suburban WPB
girls for sex in his beachfront manor. Authorities also were looking into
whether he crossed state lines with any of the minors.

What do billionaire Wall Street BSDs blow their ill-gotten gains on?   VH-1 aims to tell you, if you don’t already know.  Over the weekend we saw a promo for an upcoming VH-1 show: "The Fabulous Life: Billion Dollar Wall Street Ballers".  It’ll air on Thursday at 11am EDT and again that night at 9PM EDT with additional reruns on the VH-1 schedule.  According to VH-1’s teaser/promo, the show features ESL / Sears’ Eddie Lampert, and naturally SAC Capital’s Steve Cohen. It also mentions the millions raised by the Robin Hood Foundation, so we’d guess that Paul Tudor Jones is probably in there too.  Surprisingly also featured are accused perv / billionaire Jeffrey Epstein as well as besieged-by-subprime-debt John Devaney (Maybe parting with his "Positive Carry" yacht might not be such a big deal after all — VH-1 says he has 10!).

Think stars are having all of the fun?
Think again. These days nobody’s making more and spending more than the
buttoned-down badasses of Wall Street. From their sprawling estates and
tricked-out private yachts to exotic vacation homes and multi-million dollar art
collections– these guys are living larger than anyone else on the planet.
Welcome to The Fabulous Life of Billion Dollar Wall Street Ballers.

Doug Stumpf’s new novel, "Confessions of a Wall Street Shoeshine Boy" is getting lots of favorable press.  We’ve pointed to reviews, and now Page Six wonders if the main character is based upon Bear Stearns alum / billionalre / alleged perv Jeffrey Epstein, although the author says that all of the characters are composites of many people:

The novel, which centers around rogue
trader "Jeff Steed" and an insider-trading scandal at the fictitious
firm of Medved, Morningstar & Bigelow, reminds some readers of Epstein and
his departure from Bear Stearns in the early 1980s.

In the book, Steed, like Epstein, has a
penchant for sexy, young model types, goes out of his way to avoid boozing, and
lives in a vast Manhattan mansion with gaudy and monstrous furniture as well as
a huge spread in Palm Beach. Steed abruptly leaves Medved (Russian for
"bear") with a hefty bonus in his back pocket amid accusations of
illegal activity. Later, when he learns a magazine is writing a story on him, he
manages to bypass security, corner the editor-in-chief in his office, and
threaten his career.

Were Jeffrey Epstein and / or his lawyer Alan Dershowitz responsible for a certain speech being cancelled at Harvard?

That’s the belief of Rutgers University
biologist Robert Trivers, whose talk at Harvard’s Program for Evolutionary
Dynamics (PED) was axed after he called Dershowitz a "Nazi-like
apologist" for his "rationalization of Israeli attacks on Lebanese
civilians." Trivers told the Harvard Crimson a PED official said he was
"sworn to secrecy" about who pulled the plug. But Trivers blames
Dershowitz, who sits as a faculty affiliate on PED, or Epstein, who donated $6.5
million to create PED and has retained Dershowitz as a defense lawyer against
his 2006 indictment for soliciting underage prostitutes. Epstein’s lawyer,
Gerald Lefcourt, had no comment. Dershowitz told us Trivers "has a
reputation as a barroom brawler and has threatened to beat me up"- but he
insisted he had nothing to do with the cancellation.

Return Epstein’s gift? Harvard says no way

Posted by WSF On September - 13 - 2006

Jeffreyepstein004_1In 2003, billionaire money manager Jeffrey Epstein, charged in July with soliciting sex from underage girls, announced that he woud be making a donation to Harvard to fund the work of mathematical biologist Martin A Nowak.  Nowak is the director of Harvard’s Program for Evolutionary Dynamics.  Epstein wrote a $6.5 million check, and said he’d consider raising that amount to $30 million.

Now, in the wake of the charges, many who have received his donations, including politicians NY AG Eliot Spitzer, NY AG candidate Mark Green and New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, are distancing themselves from Epstein and have returned the funds.  Not Harvard.  They’ll be keeping the money, thank you very much. According to a Harvard spokesman:

"Mr. Epstein’s gift is funding important research using mathematics to study areas such as evolutionary theory, viruses, and cancers,” a Harvard spokesman said yesterday. “The University is not considering returning this gift.”

Smoking gun weighs in on billionaire sex arrest

Posted by WSF On July - 26 - 2006

Jeffreyepstein004The Smoking Gun is on the case now:

Prepare to take a shower after reading this remarkably sleazy probable cause affidavit filed in the case of Jeffrey Epstein, the billionaire financier who was arrested Sunday for soliciting sex from a masseuse at his Florida mansion. Beginning in mid-March 2005, Epstein became the target of a sexual battery probe conducted by the Palm Beach Police Department, according to the affidavit, which alleges that Epstein, 53, paid a series of underage girls to engage in sexual activity with him. Frankly, there are too many dirty details in the affidavit to properly synopsize, but, if investigators are to be believed, Epstein has a thing for teenagers, vibrators, and assorted massage lotions.

That’s Jeffrey Epstein’s mug shot above.  You can find the the 22 page Probable Cause Affadavit at the Smoking Gun link below.
