Bernie Madoff’s secretary Eleanor Squillari is now dishing to the press.  In a new interview with Vanity Fair, as well as an appearance on the Today show, she talks about her now incarcerated former boss who liberally made comments laced with sexual innuendo who she compared to Larry David’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” character.  According to the NY Post, citing from the Vanity Fair piece: Read the rest of this entry »

Will disgraced hooker loving former NY Governor Eliot Spitzer run for NY AG again? We had a great laugh reading this morning's Page Six. One of the entries suggests that hooker loving former NY Attorney General turned Governor turned leper Eliot Spitzer, who's trying hard to rehabilitate his guttered reputation, might actually try dipping his wick into politics again by running for NY Attorney General in 2010.  We wonder which flavor of Kool-Aid he's drinking.  No way could he win.  Would he really drag Silda and the kids through inevitably more pain?

One thing's for sure, if he does again venture into the political arena, it's sure to provide many entertaining headlines….

And his family's business' new 13-story real estate investment at 1615 L St. NW is only a block away from the Mayflower Hotel where the famous "Client 9" trysted with his high priced hooker, Ashley Dupre, just about a year ago.:

Eliot Spitzer,
It's gonna be interesting to see what revelations, if any, come out of soon to be unsealed documents detailing wiretaps in the hooker scandal that brought Ex-governor Eliot "Client #9" Spitzer down.  But what won't be available for voyeuristic eyes (like ours) are the names of the 67 co-Johns.  The NY Times had sued last year to have the documents unsealed:

U.S. District Judge Jed S. Rakoff ordered prosecutors Thursday to
release documents detailing calls on cell phones used by a prostitution
ring whose clients included the former governor. The documents were not
immediately released; prosecutors will have a chance to appeal.

Busted Madam Kristin Davis

The "best little whorehouse on Wall Street": Busted Manhattan madam Kristin Davis who's said to be writing a tell all book, is starting to open up.  She's let the folks at 20/20 have a peek at a computerized high profile client list — one that she shared with prosecutors (who at least so far aren't interested in prosecuting any of the johns) –  which included meticulous notes detailing names,  credit card numbers and mobile phone numbers.  She'll be interviewed tonight at 10pm where she'll talk about how many of her clients would even use corporate plastic charged to disguised vendor names designed to get by firm accountants to pay for her $2K an hour hookers.

"Some of these guys, I was invoicing on corporate credit cards," she
said. "I was writing up monthly bills for computer consulting,
construction expenses, all of these things, I was invoicing them
monthly so they could get it by their accountants," Davis said.

And while the press release surrounding her 20/20 appearance didn't name specific Johns' names — she hasn't yet decided if they'll be released publicly — they did tantalize us with some of the firms that they come from, including Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, law firm Cravath Swaine Moore, and "the CEO of one of the largest private equity firms".  Hmmmm.  Here's the description of some of them:

Ashley Dupre, Eliot Spitzer, Client 9, hookers, Diane Sawyer After keeping a relatively low and silent profile, now Ashley Dupre, the high priced hooker that finally took down disgraced former NY Governor / bullying attorney general Eliot Spitzer, is talking to everyone.  She's spoken to People Magazine, on news stands Friday, and a demurely dressed Dupre speaks to Diane Sawyer on 20/20 Friday evening.  According to the NY Post, she's sorry for sleaze bag Spitzer's wife, but as for the sex act itself, it was "strictly business":

Eliot
He may have dodged the criminal charge bullet, but he'll forever be known as the disgraced hypocritical high priced ho-loving ex-governor known as "Client 9".

“After a thorough investigation, this office has uncovered no evidence of misuse of public or campaign funds,'' Manhattan U.S. Attorney Michael Garcia said today in a statement. “We have determined that there is insufficient evidence to bring charges against Mr. Spitzer for any offense relating to the withdrawal of funds for, and his payments to, the Emperors Club VIP.''

“I appreciate the impartiality and thoroughness of the investigation by the U.S. Attorney's Office,'' Spitzer, 49, said today in a separate statement. “I acknowledge and accept responsibility for the conduct it disclosed.''

Wall Streeter drinks and job huntsTucked away in a mini-pullout section of the NY Post is an article on how anxious current and laid off Wall Streeters have become over the credit crunch and state of the industry.  "Substance abuse and risky sex behavior is up among downsized and worried Wall Streeters, say therapists".

Al goes for three shots of vodka topped off with Red Bull before making his daily networking calls,
"Pete" is lifting "a few" Xanax from mom's medicine
cabinet.  Others are turning to food, and then there are others that go to
strip clubs, massage parlors and are for the first time, hiring hookers….

Busted Madam Kristin Davis

10,000 names are in her little black book: If any of you Wall Street guys were ever a client of 'Manhattan Madam' Kristin Davis, you may soon be doing some squirming.  She's penning a tell all.  According to the NY Daily News:

The worst is probably over for former Gov. Spitzer, but if you're
one of the other 10,000 or so guys who sought satisfaction with
"Manhattan Madam" Kristin Davis, it's time to be afraid.

The
buxom, bottle-blond former owner of the now-shuttered high-end Wicked
Models escort service announced Wednesday that she penned a
tell-all-book – and you just might get a mention or two.

Davis
promises "The Real Sex in the City: True Tales of the Manhattan Madam"
will reveal the "naughty exploits" of powerful politicians, Wall Street
bigwigs, Hollywood celebrities, doctors, lawyers and maybe even an
Indian chief.

Hooker-005

The credit crunch may be hurting both Wall Street and Main Street where everyone is tightening their belts, but one group that seems to still be faring rather well: those engaged in the oldest profession.  According to this weekend’s NY Daily News, hookers are so far holding their own, although mirroring the economy in general, there seems to be some economizing going on — trading down from the really expensive Ashley Dupre type hookers that Eliot "Client 9" Spitzer ponied up for to lower price points….

Jeffrey Epstein no longer gets to dine on the finest and has to do his own shopping now that he’s tucked away in a Palm Beach prison, serving an 18 month sentence for perving underage babes.  What does he eat and what else does he buy at the prison commissary?  The Smoking Gun got hold of his receipts via the Freedom of Information act and shares their findings. Since he seems to buy a lot, they also speculate that he may be sharing the wealth with his fellow inmates (we’ll guess that several very, very large sweatshirts he bought weren’t for him)…

Page Six: Henry Kravis spotted looking at hookers

Posted by WSF On July - 31 - 2008

At least the ones in paintings.  Page Six "Sightings" notes that the KKR boss was seen "intently studying" one of the paintings of a hooker at the Museum of Modern Art’s "Kirchner and the Berlin Street" show of rare 1914 paintings from artist Ernst Ludwig Kirchner.  The painter focused on the street life in Berlin, and he liked to show ladies of the evening, who you could pick out of the crowd from their big plumed hats.  A far cry from what today’s hookers look like.

Page Six: Jeffrey Epstein’s doing fine in prison

Posted by WSF On July - 30 - 2008

Maybe we’re just way behind the times, but we didn’t think that prison inmates got email access.  Guess they do, at least at some of the cushier barred digs.  Page Six tells us that jailed financier / sex offenderJeffrey Epstein seems to be doing just fine in prison.  He has his own cell and is said to spend a lot of time in the library "e-mailing various models he befriended in New York, sending them boxes of chocolates and promising them career help".

Some apparently aren’t so happy with Jeffrey Epstein’s plea deal.  Page Six notes that three women who have sued him want a federal judge to kill the deal where Epstein serves 18 months in prison in exchange for admitting that he admit to soliciting a 14 year old hooker.

Their lawyer, Brad Edwards, has asked US
District Judge Kenneth Marra to toss the deal – which included an agreement that
Epstein’s wouldn’t face federal prosecution, which could have led to a longer
jail term – because they weren’t consulted on it. Marra has asked for more
information before he rules. Epstein’s rep, Howard Ruben stein, said, "The
lawsuit has absolutely no merit. They’re just looking for money. These women
have lied repeatedly, and in no way shape or form were they victims. They were
at his place freely and voluntarily. And one of them showed Epstein a fake
ID."

Spitzer’s hooker sued over alleged identity theft

What a shocker: Sounds like Jeffrey Epstein got some preferential treatment in his prostitution charge plea deal.  Circuit judge Deborah Dale Pucillo was critical of two of the conditions — that he get to have "his fancy-pantsy private psychiatrist"  for his sex-offender treatment, and that he gets to serve his time in county jail rather than in state prison where as a sex offender he might have gotten some pretty rough treatment…

The Palm Beach Post confirmed the NY Post’s earlier story that billionaire underage prostitute solicitor Jeffrey Epstein would plead guilty.  And it’s a done deal.  He surrendered this morning, accompanied to court by at least 3 lawyers.  After making his guilty plea he was fingerprinted and then handcuffed for his trip off to jail.  He’ll be living at the Palm Beach County Jail for up to the next 18 months. He’ll be a registered sex offender for life, and when he gets out, he’ll be under house arrest for a year, and will have to clean up his act considerably —

When he eventually is released from jail,
Epstein will have to comply with numerous conditions of his house arrest. They
include observing a 10 p.m.to 6 a.m. curfew, having no unsupervised contact with
anybody under the age of 18 and not owning or possession pornographic or sexual
materials "that are relevant to your deviant behavior," the judge
said.

So porn NOT relevant to his "deviant behavior" is allowed.  We could, but we won’t go there.  LOL

Today’s NY Post Page Six discloses that one of the biggest losers in the Bear Stearns hedge fund implosion mess is none other than billionaire / underage sex solicitor Jeffrey Epstein.  He lost around $57 million, and the feds identify him as "Major Investor No.1" in their case against former hedge fund managers Ralph Cioffi and Matthew Tannin.  Epstein’s identity as MI#1 was confirmed by his rep, Howard Rubenstein.

Separately, The Post also is reporting that Epstein is finally set to plead guilty in West Palm Beach to charges that he solicited under age hookers at his Florida lair, and immediately surrender himself up so that he can start serving that up to 18 month prison stay.
