The business of sex: You can get the Latin American lowdown on the sex industry at the annual six day sexpo being held in Mexico City through Monday.  They expect over 100K to attend the show, featuring books, magazines, dvds, and naughty toys as well as porn stars from the U.S. and Latin America.  A highlight of the show is a recreation of Amsterdam’s red light district where attendees get to wander through narrow alleys with sex shops, peep shows and brothels….

This morning’s Page Six claims that CNBC is getting worried about their Fox Business babe competition in their generally far sexier wardrobes so they’ve brought in a new stylist to help sex up their looks.  CNBC says it’s not true….

about their blonde Fox Business Network competition that they’ve brought in a
new wardrobe stylist to re-dress their anchorbabes, an inside source reports.
Gone are the business suits that on-air cuties Becky Quick, Erin Burnett and
Michelle Caruso-Cabrera used to wear. "All of a sudden, they wear nothing
but form-fitting V-necks in bright colors and they’ve gotten all new
clothes," said our source. "Pants are no longer relevant." A CNBC
rep said, "Not true. No wardrobe change."

If you haven’t seen the piece on Erin Burnett that’s in Men’s Health Magazine you may look at her differently once you do.  From high up on her pedestal, Princess Erin shares "8 Ways to Impress Me." (see below.). And guys, if you want impress her, it’ll cost you plenty.

We wonder what was she thinking in putting this thing out.   It’s certainly not a career booster for a serious journalist.  Isn’t she the least bit embarrassed that her list makes her sound like a gold digging bimbo?  We’re not the only ones who are repulsed. Here are some of the comments that have sprung up in response to the article. (And sorry, Erin, but Fox Business’  Jenna Lee is hotter and although she "doesn’t do dutch", seems like she’s not nearly as high maintenance.)

Oops they did it again!: Fox Business News made another blooper yesterday, following up the ‘Apple….no wait…it’s Abu Dhabi’ flub.  This time they reported that Hewlett Packard’s earnings missed, but then corrected themselves eleven minutes later that they actually beat.  We do note though that ALL of the major news organizations including Dow Jones, Bloomberg and Reuters and CNBC OFTEN get those wrong…..

Fox Business Network is struggling through its first earnings season. (And who
can blame them? It’s hard to get those numbers out fast.) On Monday afternoon,
perhaps in their haste to beat CNBC, anchor Liz Claman–formerly of CNBC,
btw–turned a boffo quarter from Hewlett Packard (HPQ) into an earnings miss.

Fox Business reported at 4:03 p.m. that HP’s earnings missed Wall Street
consensus estimates by a penny. That’d be a huge deal for the tech giant, and
indeed, Fox reported that HP shares were dropping in after-hour trading.

But eleven minutes later shareholders had earned a reprieve: After explaining
that his staff had just "crunched the numbers," Liz’ co-anchor David
Asman provided new ones: HP had beaten the street by four cents. HPQ is now up
about 1%, to $50……
