The Ex-Met star turned entrepreneur filed Chapter 11, listing assets less than a paltry $50K and liabilities of between $10 – $50 million.

Dykstra, whose lifestyle included a lavish house, a jet and a Rolls Royce, says he owes millions of dollars to his 20 largest creditors, many of them banks. His filing follows at least two dozen lawsuits over his business and financial dealings.

Dykstra, nicknamed “Nails” for his rough-and-ready style, is a former All-Star who spent 12 years with the Mets and the Philadelphia Phillies. He won a World Series with the Mets in 1986.

The news site TMZ.com is having some fun at Dykstra’s expense. Last month, the TMZ folks noticed that his Rolls Royce was being towed away, and they contacted him to find out if it was being reposessed. He sent an email back:

Let you know what? I had the pick-up arranged with Rolls Royce – what do you think we are all doing there at the same time for?

Do you not have anything better to do – you f***ing drama queen! Get a life!

I worked out the pick-up with a VIP at Rolls Royce – I told them where I would be, the time I would be there ….. and now you want to know why? BECAUSE I WASN’T DRIVING TWO HOURS TO BEVERLY HILLS, PERIOD!

Do you not have anything better to do, how did you get the big assignment? You f***ing drama queen! Get a life!

Respectfully,

Lenny K. Dykstra

F***ing drama queen? Hmmmmm.

They noted that on their website, and also did a piece about it on their daily TV show.

Now that he’s filed Chapter 11, TMZ says that Dykstra owes the f***ing drama queen an apology….. (also noted on their TV show yesterday).
